Project Overview

I designed and developed a fully functional wedding website that captured the couple’s unique story while providing guests with everything they needed to participate in the celebration. The project included defining a bespoke brand style, structuring content, and building the site in Webflow. Key features included RSVP functionality, downloadable resources, and multiple sections narrating the couple’s romantic journey. To enhance the storytelling and visual identity, I also created custom illustrations and imagery using MidJourney AI, aligning them with the brand style. The process moved from wireframes to a polished, responsive website that blended elegance, creativity, and seamless usability.

Client’s Goal

The couple wanted a wedding website that went far beyond logistics—it needed to be a digital reflection of their love story and aesthetic vision. Their goal was to create a platform that not only coordinated guests with schedules, venues, and accommodations but also immersed them in the atmosphere of the event. They wanted a visually memorable experience that felt like an extension of the wedding itself, setting the tone even before guests arrived.

Challenges

The main challenge was balancing romantic storytelling with practical functionality. Guests needed a simple, intuitive experience to RSVP, find details, and download resources, while the couple wanted the site to feel like part of their wedding brand. Another challenge was developing a cohesive visual style from scratch and ensuring that all AI-generated artwork felt consistent, polished, and professional, seamlessly integrating into the website’s design.

Process

Discovery: Identified the couple’s aesthetic, vision, and priorities.
Brand Design: Developed a custom style guide including colors, fonts, and visual direction.
Wireframing: Outlined layouts for storytelling, RSVP, and information pages.
Content Strategy: Structured the couple’s story, event details, and guest instructions.
AI-Enhanced Imagery: Created custom visuals in MidJourney to support brand storytelling.
Webflow Development: Built a responsive, elegant website with RSVP forms and downloadable resources.
Testing & Optimization: Ensured smooth performance across devices and simplified guest interactions.

Project Outcome

The final website became a central touchpoint for the wedding, uniting practical guest information with romantic storytelling. Guests could easily RSVP, download resources, and find answers to logistical questions, reducing confusion and improving coordination. At the same time, the unique branding and visuals transformed the site into a memorable extension of the celebration, reflecting the couple’s style and story. The website set the tone for the wedding itself, leaving guests engaged and excited long before the event began.
