Sera powers the unsung heroes of home service: From HVAC techs fighting the summer heat to plumbers wrangling pipes in crawlspaces. But behind every job is a maze of schedules, quotes, invoices, and customer calls, all run on outdated tools that made hard work even harder.

When I joined, Sera was powerful in theory but painful in practice. The interface was clunky, navigation confusing, tech debt mounting, churn rising, and runway shrinking.

We took it back to the studs. My team and I rebuilt the field and office experience (iOS + Web), overhauled the information architecture, and launched a full rebrand.

Eight months later, Sera was named one of the Best HVAC Software Platforms of 2025 by Software Advice, earning Best Value for Money.
