SELF-DIRECTED DEMONSTRATION
Context
This demonstration uses six weeks of fictional professional-services data. It shows the reporting component of a client-onboarding and delivery system and contains no real commercial or personal information.
Operational problem
Teams often review sales activity separately from delivery health. That makes it difficult to see whether new work is arriving faster than the team can onboard it, whether missing inputs are falling and whether clients are receiving timely updates.
Approach
I brought the main operating measures into one weekly view. Four headline indicators show the latest on-time rate, average onboarding days, missing items and client-update rate. The supporting table retains the weekly detail, while the chart shows enquiry, proposal and new-client volume.
Deliverables demonstrated
• Four headline delivery indicators • Six-week operating table • Enquiry-to-client conversion view • Workload and acquisition trend chart • Prompt for a short weekly exception discussion
Key design decisions
The dashboard keeps volume, conversion and service reliability in the same reporting rhythm. It avoids a large collection of decorative metrics. Each measure is intended to support a decision: investigate an exception, assign an owner or confirm the next deadline.
Result of the demonstration
The completed view gives a manager one place to discuss what changed, which exceptions require ownership and what must happen before the next client deadline. The figures illustrate the reporting structure only and are not claimed results.
Boundaries
Metric definitions and source data must be approved by the client. The dashboard does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
