- Helped a Series C valued unicorn tech company build out it's entire BE Engineering team. In a 6 month window hired 20+ engineers that were critical hires.
This was arguably my most successful recruiting project. Last year, I took on a project with a Series C (unicorn) startup called Pantheon. I was responsible for building out the entire BE Engineering team. Company website (https://pantheon.io/ )
For the longest time, recruiting was a black hole on that team. They had a very tough time trying to hire the best in-house engineers for certain areas in their engineering business.
I came in and placed 20 BE Engineers in three months. I developed a strategy and methodology to acquire the best talent in the market, effectively vet them through smart technical screens, and consistently close high-performing candidates.
This was not an easy project. It took a lot of work to make sure they were hiring the best talent. All-in-all, they ended up being in a great spot. The company as od December 2024 is currently valued at $1.1B.
