Redesigning a MedSpa Site That Builds Trust Before Booking

The Challenge

Client: Brilliant Skin & Laser Studio — MedSpa and skincare studio in Coos Bay, Oregon (treatments, memberships, clinical skincare products) Role: Website Redesign Result: Over 50% increase in traffic MedSpa clients are making a decision that's both cosmetic and clinical — they need to trust the provider's expertise as much as they need to like the aesthetic. Brilliant needed a site that could carry that dual trust requirement: warm and beauty-forward enough to feel welcoming, but credible and professional enough to reassure someone booking a laser or injectable treatment for the first time. On top of that, the studio had just moved to a new Coos Bay location, which needed to be communicated clearly without disrupting the booking-focused core of the site.

The Approach

1. Hero — Confidence as the Core Promise The homepage opens with "Where Beauty Meets Confidence: Your Trusted Aesthetics Partner," paired with warm, genuine group photography rather than clinical stock imagery. Dual CTAs — "Who We Are" and "Book a Consultation" — serve both audiences at once: visitors who need to build trust first, and visitors ready to act immediately.
New Location Announcement — Handled Without Disrupting Flow A dedicated banner announcing the new Coos Bay location "alongside Murray Dermatology" sits just beneath the hero, giving this important update visibility without pushing the booking CTA further down the page — existing clients get the information they need, new visitors aren't distracted from the primary conversion path.
"The Premiere MedSpa & Skin Care Studio in Coos Bay" — Local Authority Positioning This section establishes Brilliant's local market position directly, followed immediately by a treatments/products/membership visual row — pairing the credibility claim with concrete proof of what the studio actually offers, rather than leaving it as an unsupported statement.
Our Treatments — Organizing by Client Intent Treatments, Products, and Monthly Membership are presented as three clear, photographed entry points, letting visitors self-select based on what they're actually looking for (a specific treatment, skincare products, or an ongoing membership) rather than browsing an undifferentiated service list.
"Discover the Best in Skin Care at Brilliant" — Expertise, Stated Plainly This section explains the studio's approach — "we combine advanced technology with a personalized approach" — giving visitors the clinical credibility signal a MedSpa audience specifically looks for before booking, positioned alongside genuine client photography rather than purely technical imagery.
Real Stories, Real Results — Before/After Trust at the Right Moment A "Skin Transformation Stories" section featuring real client photos is placed after the credibility-building sections above, giving visitors tangible proof of results right as they're evaluating whether to commit — critical for a category where visible outcomes matter more than almost any other trust signal.
Membership CTA — Turning One-Time Clients Into Recurring Revenue "A skinvestment might not be as much as you think" reframes membership pricing with approachable, benefit-forward language, directly addressing the hesitation a prospective member might have about ongoing cost before ever seeing a price
Glowing Reviews — Named, Specific, and Treatment-Tagged Testimonials are attributed with first name, last initial, and the specific treatment received (Laser Hair Removal, MedSpa Client, Cosmetic Injectables) — this specificity does more trust-building work than generic five-star reviews, since it lets a visitor find a review from someone who got the exact treatment they're considering.
Closing CTA — One Last, Clear Ask "Ready for Your Custom Skin Solution?" paired with a final "Book a Consultation" button closes the page with a single, unambiguous next step, avoiding the common mistake of ending a long, trust-building page without a clear final action.
Visual & Brand Direction A navy-and-gold palette paired with warm, genuine photography (rather than sterile clinical stock imagery) gives Brilliant a premium, welcoming feel that supports the "beauty meets confidence" positioning — professional enough for a medical-adjacent service, warm enough to not feel intimidating to a first-time visitor.

The Results

Since the redesign launched, Brilliant Skin & Laser Studio has seen an estimated over 50% increase in traffic.
