The Electric Vehicle (EV) Launch in South Jakarta was a pioneering initiative aimed at introducing electric vehicles into Gojek's fleet. This project was a critical step in promoting sustainable transportation and reducing the carbon footprint of Gojek's operations. The launch was part of a larger strategy to innovate within the transportation sector and position Gojek as a leader in green mobility.
Objectives:
Drivers Onboarding: successfully onboard 500 EV drivers in the South Jakarta area, ensuring that these vehicles were fully integrated into the Gojek ecosystem.
Infrastructure: establish a reliable network of Battery Swap Stations (BSS) to support the EVs, providing seamless and efficient operations for the drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the entire launch process, from planning to execution.
Coordinating with various stakeholders.
Managing the deployment of 250 Gesits and 250 Gogoro bikes, and ensuring the availability and reliability of BSS across South Jakarta.
Led the development of driver onboarding and training programs, facilitated the setup of a maintenance workshop, and implemented a robust system for monitoring bike performance and driver satisfaction.
Results:
The project successfully launched 500 electric vehicles, with 100% of the planned drivers onboarded and fully operational by the end of February 2021.
The BSS network was established across key locations in South Jakarta, providing reliable and efficient battery swap services.
Key Metrics:
Driver Onboarding: 500 EV drivers onboarded.
Vehicle Deployment: 250 Gesits and 250 Gogoro bikes deployed.
Battery Swap Stations (BSS): 8 BSS established within the operational polygon.
Operational Efficiency: Achieved seamless integration of EVs into Gojek's fleet with no major disruptions reported.
