(H)ALL — Designing a Clearer Path Through Personal Health

(H)ALL is a digital health ecosystem designed to make personal health easier to understand, organize and act upon. The project was selected as a UX Design Awards 2026 nominee in the New Talent category.

THE CHALLENGE

Health information is fragmented, emotional and often difficult to interpret. Records, biomarkers, connected devices, specialists and care plans usually exist across separate services, leaving people to make sense of complex information while already feeling worried or overwhelmed.

The challenge was to design for health without increasing anxiety and to support people with different levels of digital and health literacy.

RESEARCH INSIGHT

Research with healthcare actors showed that the solution could not become another data-heavy dashboard. Patients, caregivers and professionals are all part of the same healthcare journey, but most existing systems treat them as disconnected users.

This shifted the design direction from displaying more information to helping people understand what matters and what they can do next.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

A reactive and proactive structure was created around two real modes of health behavior: understanding when something is wrong and taking action to prevent, improve or remain well.

Progressive disclosure presents readable health statuses first and reveals detailed information only when needed. This reduces cognitive pressure while preserving access to biomarkers, records, scans and supporting evidence.

THE EXPERIENCE

(H)ALL connects health records, biomarkers, body scans, connected devices, specialist access, caregiver support and personalized plans within one coherent ecosystem.

AI-supported guidance helps translate fragmented information into clearer next steps, while accessible language and visual hierarchy make the experience feel more human and manageable.

OUTCOME

The project evolved from a master's thesis into an internationally recognized concept. Its UX Design Awards nomination brought (H)ALL beyond the academic context and created a foundation for future validation with patients, caregivers, specialists and healthcare partners.
