Hygrow — Turning a Self-Watering Product into a Digital Story

Hygrow combines Italian terracotta craftsmanship with an intelligent self-watering system that supports autonomous plant hydration for up to one month.
THE CHALLENGE
The product brings together material innovation, artisanal production and an unfamiliar water-release mechanism. The main challenge was explaining how it works without making the experience feel technical, while establishing trust in a new brand preparing for e-commerce.
STRATEGY
The website was designed as Hygrow's first digital foundation. Rather than presenting disconnected product information, the experience guides visitors through a progressive story: what Hygrow is, why it matters, how the mechanism works and what makes each vase unique.
This structure connects practical benefits such as autonomous irrigation and reduced water waste with the emotional value of craftsmanship, natural materials and easier plant care.
WEBSITE EXPERIENCE
A bright, responsive interface allows the colors, textures and forms of the vases to remain central. Clear visual hierarchy, scroll-based storytelling and focused calls to action make a complex product immediately understandable.
Product sizes, colors, technical components, customer feedback and the craft process are brought together in one coherent journey designed to support discovery and ordering.
OUTCOME
Hygrow now has a clear digital presence that translates its product innovation into an accessible brand story. The website connects functionality, craftsmanship and commercial intent while creating a flexible foundation for future e-commerce growth.
