As the principal product designer for Comet Cash, I played a key role in creating a global fintech platform designed to revolutionize cross-border transactions. The app enables fast, low-cost transfers, supports financial inclusion, and leverages advanced technologies like the Lightning Network to provide seamless, accessible financial services for users worldwide.

Cross-border transactions are often accompanied by excessive charges, long waiting times, and none or few banking facilities available. This makes it impossible, for many people especially the unbanked populations, to be active in the global trade. In addition to these concerns, current websites are generally overly complicated for average users and thus do not allow them to transact efficiently. These problems present an understanding that the users require a solution which is fast, cheap and easy for people of different financial status and regions.

By integrating the Lightning Network and proprietary technology, we reduced transaction fees to ensure that users can send and receive money without losing a significant portion to costs.

We built a system that supports near-instant payments, allowing users to send money across borders in seconds, solving the issue of slow, delayed transfers.

Comet Cash offers a mobile-first platform, ensuring that users, including those unbanked, can access financial services from their smartphones without needing a bank account.

I focused on creating an intuitive user interface with easy navigation, minimal steps for completing transactions, and accessible language, making it usable for anyone regardless of technical skill.

As the main designer for Comet Cash, I created a system that makes sending money across countries easier and cheaper. I made sure the app was simple to use, with few buttons, so people could quickly send money without high fees. The app works fast, letting users move money to other countries almost right away. I also made sure it worked well on phones, so people without bank accounts could use it too. We tested the app in Europe and Africa first, and it worked great. This showed that our design choices were good and that people found the app trustworthy and easy to use. The success in those countries proved that Comet Cash could work well in many countries around the world.
