In 5 weeks, I designed a B2B SaaS productivity and management tool that helps teams become more efficient and effective. The software executes strategy, manages projects, tracks performance, and keeps teams focused, organized, and informed.
My design process is dynamic and fluid, so this project moved seamlessly from discovery to research to design to development and back again.
About Kakar
Kakar is a Hausa word for ‘Grandmother’ or ‘Seasons...
It is named so because it suggests that the tool is nurturing and supportive, as with mothers. The tool is to be seen as a platform that helps people to achieve their goals and be more productive.
Also, Kakar was designed to help teams stay organized and on track, even as their goals and priorities change just like the seasons.

The goal was to create a one-stop productivity tool that helps teams to effectively manage and optimise their internal processes regardless of the team’s size or location.
The MVP was to launch a beta in 5 weeks as a productivity tool for marketing teams.
the problem with executing ideas.
Founders and product teams often start working on their ideas too soon, because they look great in presentations, make excellent sense in the spreadsheet, and look irresistible in the business plan. This can lead to failure, as their visions may not be realistic.
We interviewed 6 people from different companies, from CEOs to PMs.
