🤓About the Project: Platinum Fuse is a luxury dating app designed for Africa’s upper class and HNIs who seek meaningful connections within their social class.

The client aimed to position Platinum Fuse as a platfrom that could attract Africa's top class together, but they faced this issues:

Most African dating apps focus on the mass market, leaving upper class individuals and high net worth individuals without tailored solutions.

There are limited platforms where affluent individuals can confidently meet others who match their lifestyle, values, and status.

Global luxury dating do not fully reflect African culture, norms, or relationship expectations.

Existing platforms do not adequately filter for credibility, lifestyle alignment, or social standing, reducing trust and perceived value for elite users.

As the lead designer, I handled the end-to-end product design process → from research to high-fidelity screens:

Created a seamless flow across the entire product, from onboarding to user account deletion.

Defined the visual identity: gold for luxury, black for excellence, rounded icons, and reserved typography.

 Introduced unique features such as expand to view status, star favorite feature for priority, glanceable profile info & gesture interactions.

Designed an easily accessible and editable user profile, that allows users showcase thier true worth.

Created empty states that made users want to interact with certain features.

Created a subscription model page that's easy to understand.

Delivered a full mobile-first product experience that felt pristine, intelligent, and excellent. The designs focused on creating a place where affluent individuals can confidently meet, a platform that reflects African beauty and relationship expectations and adequately filters for credibility, lifestyle alignment, or social standing, increasing trust and perceived value for elite users.
