An AI podcast studio concept built around the episode, with a familiar editing model and a launch website that explains the complete workflow.
The challenge
A creator moves from script to voices, edits, mastering, and delivery. Each handoff can lose context. The interface needed to make those steps part of the same episode.
Role and scope
Product and UI direction by Christian Sika, with development guidance from Claude. Pro Tools is a design reference; no affiliation is claimed.
Use a familiar editing language
Christian modeled parts of Edit / Mix on familiar Pro Tools patterns. The timeline gives creators a recognizable starting point while the surrounding workspaces connect the larger production process.
Keep the episode as the organizing object
The documented production flow includes Script, Generate, Edit / Mix, Master, Media, and Deliver. The public tour adds Analytics. Each tab introduces its task and the next handoff.
Give the launch a recognizable story
The website frames disconnected tools as suspects in a fictional investigation. A tabbed product tour explains the studio, while repeated waitlist actions match the current launch stage.
Outcome
The public launch website is live with seven tour workspaces, pricing information, and a waitlist. Christian reports leading product, UI, website, and most backend and database decisions. Claude provided guidance.
Reflection
The next test is to watch creators complete a representative episode and identify where they lose context or need to reverse an automated decision.
