BAC Health Services: From a Brochure Site to Connected Care
BAC Health Services: From a brochure site to connected care.
A care website and broader practice platform, bringing service discovery, scheduling, telehealth, and documentation into a connected experience.
The challenge
The work grew beyond a basic WordPress site. Patients needed a useful starting point, while staff needed clearer workflows for appointments, sessions, and documentation.
Role and scope
Product and interface work by Christian Sika / sikahaus. Wider operational scope is based on his project account.
Start with the person, then the service
The public website groups psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and telehealth. Visitors who are unsure where to start can describe what changed before choosing a service.
Make clinical states explicit
The design map defines ten workflow families and shared states, including saving, conflict, forbidden, expired, and offline. NoteMaven documentation distinguishes an AI draft from a reviewed, finalized note.
Connect interface and operations
Christian’s reported scope includes scheduling notifications, video and audio sessions, AI-assisted notes, an email builder, and scheduled social publishing. Learning BAAs and security requirements shaped his approach.
Outcome
The public care website is live, with four service families, appointment-request paths, and a separate portal entry. The broader platform transformation is Christian’s reported project outcome.
Reflection
Privacy and security requirements affect interface decisions and operating costs. Future evaluation should measure appointment completion and staff task time.
