Led partnership development, outreach strategy, and growth infrastructure for an early-stage Bay Area startup focused on real-life community building. The project required building an entire growth operation from zero with no existing playbook, no systems, and no prior partnerships in place -- functioning as the sole growth support for a one-person founding team at ten hours per week.
Scope included outreach strategy and segmentation across seven partner types, a DM and email template bank with tailored messaging by segment, a brand voice and tone guide for team consistency, a partner-facing event concepts and collab playbook, individual partnership proposals, and a pipeline tracker to manage active relationships and next steps.
Within six weeks the engagement produced two confirmed gym partnerships, two fitness influencer partnerships in active development, four run clubs and social clubs in active conversation or confirmed partnership, and fifteen Bay Area publications pitched across outdoor, fitness, lifestyle, and general interest categories.
This project required thinking like a founding team member rather than a contractor -- moving fast in an undefined environment, building systems that would outlast direct involvement, and translating scrappy early-stage energy into something credible and consistent enough to convert cold outreach into real partnerships.
