The Brief

A fashion brand approached me with a clear problem: their in-store experience was premium, but their online presence didn't reflect that. Customers were buying in person but bouncing from the website. They needed an e-commerce store that felt as curated and intentional as walking into their physical shop.
The goal was simple on paper: build a responsive online store where customers could browse collections, add to cart, and check out securely. But the real ask was about brand perception. Every pixel had to feel like the brand.

Discovery and Design

I spent the first few weeks getting under the skin of the brand. I studied their existing materials, their competitors, and how their target audience shops online. Fashion e-commerce has a specific rhythm: customers browse visually, decide emotionally, and need frictionless checkout to convert.
From that research, I developed 3 design concepts. Each took a different approach to layout, typography, and how products were presented. The client chose the most editorial direction: generous whitespace, large product imagery, and minimal UI chrome that lets the clothing do the talking.

Building the Store

The entire site runs on WordPress with WooCommerce handling the commerce layer and Elementor powering the page layouts. Here's how each piece came together:
Product Catalog
Product Catalog
The catalog page was designed to feel like flipping through a lookbook. Products are displayed in a clean grid with hover states that reveal quick-add options. Category filtering sits unobtrusively at the top so shoppers can narrow by collection without leaving the page.
Product Page
Product Page
Each product page is built to sell. Large hero imagery, size and color selectors, and a sticky add-to-cart button that follows the user as they scroll through product details. The layout prioritizes the visual first, then layers in the specifics.
Shopping Cart
Shopping Cart
The cart was designed to reduce abandonment. Clear line items, easy quantity adjustments, and a visible order summary that updates in real time. No surprises at checkout. Customers can see exactly what they're paying before they commit.
Checkout Flow
Checkout Flow
Checkout is a single, streamlined flow. Shipping, payment, and order confirmation all happen on one page with clear progress indicators. Multiple payment options are supported, and the entire flow is optimized for mobile where most of the brand's traffic comes from.
