Case Study: Zedi Ware – Redefining the Digital Fashion Boutique

1. Project Overview

Zedi Ware is a modern apparel brand that bridges the gap between high-end elegance and street-ready comfort. The goal of this project was to design a comprehensive e-commerce ecosystem that reflects the brand’s motto: "A Class Apart in Comfort and Elegance." I was tasked with creating a seamless, high-conversion user journey from the first click on the homepage to the final "Thank You" screen at checkout.

2. The Problem Statement

Many fashion e-commerce sites suffer from "Visual Clutter." Too many pop-ups, messy grids, and complicated checkout processes lead to high cart abandonment rates. Zedi Ware needed a platform that felt premium but remained functional—a place where the clothes are the hero, and the interface is invisible.

3. The Solution: "Minimalist Performance"

My approach was to use a "Minimalist Performance" framework. I focused on white space to let the products breathe, bold typography for a luxury feel, and a dark-mode footer to ground the design and provide a professional finish.

Trust: Using clean, standardized forms and reviews.
Aspiration: High-quality imagery focusing on lifestyle.
Efficiency: A 3-click path to purchase.

4. Visual Identity & Tools

6. Design Deep-Dive (Page Breakdown)

A. The Homepage (The Hook)

The homepage features a massive hero section with a bold "HBX" style aesthetic. I implemented a "New Styles/Staples" split to help different buyer personas find what they need immediately—whether they are looking for trendy pieces or everyday basics.

B. Product Listing Page (The Catalog)

I designed a 4-column responsive grid. Each product card includes a hover-state "Quick Add" feature and star ratings. This allows users to gauge quality and social proof without even leaving the main feed.

C. Product Details Page (The Decision)

This page is the "closer." I added a dedicated Reviews Section because 90% of fashion shoppers check reviews before buying. The "Hoodie" detail page includes a vertical thumbnail gallery, ensuring the user sees the fabric quality and fit from every angle.

D. Cart & Checkout (The Conversion)

I optimized the Cart Page to show exactly what the user is buying, including clear price breakdowns. The Checkout was designed as a single-page flow to prevent "Exit Intent." I included trusted payment badges (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay) to ensure the user feels secure in the final step.
