Glami5 – A Handmade Brand Built with Heart, Strategy & Shelf-Readiness
The Challenge
Most beauty brands promise "natural."
Few can prove it.
Glami5 wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born in my own kitchen.
Handcrafted alongside my mother, the goal was to create a clean, credible, organic beauty brand—one that could compete on shelf, connect at events, and sell online.
But beyond the product, we needed:
A compelling brand identity
Scalable packaging
Launch-ready assets for event stalls, Amazon, and D2C sales
A website that didn’t just display—converted curiosity into orders
My Role & Execution
1. Product Vision & Development
Worked closely with my mother to co-create product formulations: face packs, scrubs, oils—each tested and refined.
Ensured ingredient integrity aligned with Ayurvedic and natural wellness standards.
Defined product SKUs based on usability, shelf life, and buyer psychology (especially for event audiences).
2. Brand Identity & Packaging Design
Named the brand “Glami5” — blending “glamour” with the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, space).
Designed a minimalist, nature-aligned logo system.
Built a packaging language that worked across jars, labels, sachets, and boxes—both for offline stalls and Amazon FBA requirements.
Made sure each unit felt gift-ready, premium, but earthy—to attract wellness-conscious buyers.
3. E-Commerce Website on WooCommerce
Designed and developed the brand’s WooCommerce website from scratch.
Built a clean UI with natural textures, scroll storytelling, and CTA clarity.
Integrated inventory, shipping, and automated email notifications.
Added product education pages to build trust (why this ingredient, how to use, results timeline).
4. Launch Execution – Events + Marketplaces
Designed all event stall materials: banners, tent collateral, product display layouts, sampler sets.
Coordinated stall presence at wellness expos and community markets to build ground-level awareness.
Ran sample + feedback loops to fine-tune products based on real-time customer input.
Outcomes & Impact
Glami5 successfully launched as a fully-functional D2C product line in under 90 days.
Sold out inventory in early event stalls—established product-market fit with women aged 25–40 seeking clean skincare.
Website enabled nationwide orders, while Amazon built discoverability.
Packaging received praise for its clarity, aesthetic warmth, and gifting appeal.
Why It Matters in My Portfolio
This wasn’t an agency project.
This was sweat equity, family-built, and fully self-driven—from formulation to fulfillment.
It showcases my ability to:
✅ Take a physical product from kitchen to market
✅ Build both the brand and the buying system
✅ Align emotional design with logistical readiness
(print specs, vendor constraints, shelf positioning)
If You’re Launching a D2C Physical Product
Whether it’s skincare, food, wellness, or handmade—
You need more than branding.
You need:
→ Packaging that pops
→ A website that sells
→ A product that builds loyalty
→ A founder story people connect with
That’s what I delivered with Glami5.
I can do the same for your product vision—from idea to income.
