Automated Recruitment Intake System Implementation

A company receiving job applications via email was struggling to manage and track candidates efficiently. Applications arrived continuously, but there was no reliable system to label emails, log candidate details, notify the hiring team, or confirm receipt to applicants. As a result, emails were sometimes missed, candidate data was scattered across inboxes and spreadsheets, and applicants were left unsure whether their application had been received, creating a poor experience on both sides.

I built an automated hiring intake workflow that turns every relevant application email into a structured, trackable process. Incoming emails are automatically detected, labeled, and processed; candidate details are logged into Airtable and Google Sheets, confirmation emails are sent to applicants, and the hiring team is notified instantly on Slack with clear context. Error handling ensures the team is alerted if anything fails. The result is a reliable, hands-off recruitment intake system that keeps data clean, improves response speed, and gives both candidates and hiring teams a smooth, professional experience.
