Building a website for another Studio...

I met the founder of IPR Studios at Cannes Lions Festival. He co-founded HXOUSE with Lamar and The Weeknd. After 10 years of building the creative hub and school in Toronto, Ahmed (the commissioner) has set his eyes on creating a creative/production studio in the Middle East. I.P.R (Intellectual Property Repertoire) They work with the largest tech companies, fashion houses, and music productions in the Middle East and cover everything from artist management to advertorial production and end-to-end software development. The two meetings in sharing our vision for the new website and how it will be inspired and speak to Middle Eastern fruits and culture, they were set on working with us to bring their vision to life.

The Visual Language,

On any project we choose to work on, we start with research. At the core of any brief or brand. Without knowing how the brand exists online, it will be very tough to introduce new design systems, animations, or experiential experiences without having a strong foundational understanding of what their previous websites looked like, how the competitors approach their designs, and where the industry is headed. We noticed that a lot of websites in the GCC have a lot of animations, 3D effects, and videos on their website. For this, we worked with a talented music production artist and 3D designer based in Toronto.

Experience working with another Studio,

The overall experience was phenomenal. Our client worked with the Canadian government, the weekend Google Mercedes Neco health and more. For us, it was a massive learning experience by taking a figment of his imagination and displaying that on a website that he still uses today was both rewarding and inspiring to work on more projects like this.
