Diffused AI: Transforming Conference Content

The Conference Reels automation app...

Diffused AI, now known as Conferencereels.com, was designed for the events and conferencing industry. The bottleneck for these huge companies and conferences that we know and love is that after the event is finished, they struggle with editing and publishing valuable content in time. Nowadays, tools like Opus Clips and Claude's MCP connected to an optimised FFmpeg studio allow for long-form content to be condensed into hundreds of viral clips with the use of semantic reasoning to extract key speaker moments. The main advice in Silicon Valley and the startup world in general is to scratch your own it.

Market Research & Validation

For beginning on my founder journey, I conducted thorough market research into new technologies that could bring forth this mission. I played around with automation tools like n8n and Make.com. I conducted over 100 interviews with events, producers, and marketers, and spoke to the Opus Clips development team to further understand how they use semantic reasoning for extracting key moments. No one has done this for the events and conferencing industry. So it was imperative for me to really understand the landscape before writing a single line of code. After investigating tools like Clap, Wizard AI, and various other video editing tools positioning themselves as cursor for production, I set out to build Diffused, an AI-powered content engine for conferences. Diffuse now serves 50 yearly conferences to take long-form keynotes, interviews, and panel discussions. Detect key speaker moments, creates a microsite for each speaker to further promote the event at the end. Those microsites also work as a lead generation tool for the conference to generate new leads for the next event. I'm really proud of this app because it allowed me to roll all of my past experiences into an industry I'm deeply passionate about.

GTM Strategy & Launch,

I found this part of the development fun and exciting because marketing was never my strongest point, but I always loved creative strategy. After 100 interviews with conferencing professionals, it was clear to me on how I would map out this plan. Through this process, I grew my LinkedIn account from 500 followers to now over 6,000 followers in a span of three months. I've done this by posting almost every day, engaging with the community and events groups, and emailing over 1,500 industry professionals using go-to-market platforms like Motion and Swan.
