After over 100 interviews and market research into event tech platforms, I discovered that most of the ticket sales come from speaker affiliate links yet 80% of speakers do not or simply are not incentivised to promote their speaking engagement beyond the initial post.
Upon noticing this, I went on a 6-week battle in trying to acquire the domain speaker dot at. It had to be that domain otherwise I probably would not have built it. I seen this as a Linktree or Bitly style product specifically designed for speakers at conferences.

Why I built this?
Thousands of speakers from around the world announced that they're speaking at a conference or an event, and they often share a link to the event registration page, or they don't share a link at all.
(Spkr at) now allows conference organisers to automatically create microsites for each speaker to sell their event in new ways. Now with the platform that I designed, each microsite speaks to a different audience, boosting sales. But also it makes it easier for speakers to showcase the value proposition of the audience attendance.
I had a great time building 'Spkr at' a platform for conference speakers to improve event promotion and ticket sales through micro sties and smart links!
