FacturasIA - PDF and photo invoices turned into one clean Excel file, with AI extraction and human verification.

The problem Small businesses and freelancers receive invoices as PDFs, scans or photos of paper, and then type every field into a spreadsheet by hand. A month of 80 invoices is about three and a half hours of typing, and every typo is a reconciliation problem at the end of the month.

What I built A Windows tool that reads the invoices - PDF, scans or phone photos - and writes one clean spreadsheet with 12 columns per invoice: provider, date, invoice number, description, taxable base, VAT/tax, total, currency, category, a confidence flag and the original text of every extracted field.

How it works 1. Put the invoices in a folder and press one button. 2. The Claude API reads each document and returns the fields with a strict schema. When the layout is unusual, a per-provider prompt handles it. 3. Anything the model is not sure about is flagged with a confidence value instead of being quietly filled in, and the raw text of each field is kept next to the extracted value, so you can check the doubtful rows in two minutes. 4. Press save and you get a .xlsx or .csv, ready for Excel, Google Sheets or your ERP.

The result 3 h 30 min of manual work becomes about 30 seconds. The AI step costs roughly 0.02 USD per invoice, paid with your own API key - there is no subscription. And from the second month you do it yourself in five minutes: the program is yours.

What I deliver The .exe, a one-page guide and a short screen recording, tested with your real documents before handover. Your files are only read to extract the data, and nothing is stored on my side.
