Aftercare is a maintenance-focused hair care brand designed for everyday use after washing or styling. The brand reframes hair care as ongoing support rather than repair, offering simple, reassuring products that fit naturally into daily routines.
The Challenge: 
The challenge was to avoid the two extremes often seen in hair care branding. Many brands lean heavily into clinical, problem-solution messaging, while others focus purely on aesthetics without clarity or function. The aim was to create a brand that feels both approachable and useful, with a clear sense of comfort and consistency.
The Approach:
The approach was built around simplicity and familiarity. A soft retro-inspired logotype introduces warmth and personality, while structured layouts and clear information keep the system grounded and easy to use. The tone remains calm and supportive, making the brand feel like a natural part of everyday life.
The visual identity
The visual identity is warm, soft, and recognisable. A palette of muted blues, creams, browns, and gentle pink accents creates a sense of comfort and care. Rounded typography adds approachability, while a consistent striped pattern builds a recognisable system across packaging and digital touchpoints.
The Packaging 
The packaging treats the bottle as a calm, recognisable system that communicates care at a glance. A soft retro stripe pattern wraps each product to create instant shelf recognition, while neutral labels keep information clear and easy to navigate. Gentle colors and rounded typography soften the overall look, making the products feel reassuring and approachable rather than clinical. The result is a consistent, practical, and visually warm packaging system that feels effortless to use every day.
