Devs: Commerce Technology Web System & Art Direction
For 3Devs, a premier Mexico City-based commerce technology company specializing in scalable e-commerce, marketplaces, catalog governance, and logistics workflows across LATAM and the US, I led the art direction, visual design, and modular web architecture for its official platform. The strategic challenge was to evolve the brand beyond the perception of a conventional development agency—translating complex technical operations into an authoritative, product-led digital experience.
The work began with establishing an executive-grade visual language that balances technical rigor with cinematic aesthetics. Combining bold, condensed typography (Fietlandica) with high-contrast dark technical environments and clean editorial surfaces, I designed a responsive design system supported by seven reusable page templates. Rather than relying on generic stock imagery, I directed and refined a cohesive AI-assisted visual production pipeline—rigorously editing and color-grading abstract tech environments to eliminate the uncurated look of raw AI output.
A critical focus of the architecture was structuring and framing their proprietary IP and service models. I designed polished interface containers and UI mockups for their flagship software suite (Seller Center, Nova Content Commerce, and ShippHub), while creating scannable comparison grids and visual diagrams to clearly communicate the superior value of their specialized Agent Model over traditional IT staffing.
Motion was deployed as a functional UX tool rather than mere decoration. Through interactive prototypes and After Effects motion studies, I established page transitions, module entrance behaviors, and dynamic micro-interactions that make the speed and reliability of 3Devs' digital operations tangible. The resulting platform successfully drives high-intent commercial inquiries from CTOs and retail leaders, perfectly positioning the brand for its ongoing US market expansion.
