A client had an inventory of 40,000 products, but only very basic product descriptions. The competition, had very detailed descriptons. In the health space, there was no way for my client to compete. And no way to write the descriptions. What to do?
a. I built a Google scraper that would search for the top 2 listings of the products on Google.de and Google.com. I scraped the product descriptions, including ingredients and nutrional data.
b. I combined all of the data from the 4 listings into one bucket, and used it to write a new description using AI, that was unique, but different to all of them.
c. The AI was instructed to ensure the style of writing was incredibaly varied in structure, format and tone. There was minimal repetition even though 40,000 products. Charts in html were created illustrating facts. Tables of ingredients and nutrional value were created.
d. The AI was trained in what it could or could not say with regard to medical claims to meet with European Health Standards.
The result? A massive increase in rankings to the product pages, with descriptions done for a couple of cents each.
SEO is not just about keywords and links. It's about finding ways to do things in an efficient, affordable way.
