Overview

I joined The Community Collective initially as a member in Cohort #1 after launching my own community and recognising the impact that strong community design, facilitation, and operational systems have on long-term engagement. What began as a learning experience evolved into a leadership journey as I became an Ambassador and later the organisation’s first Community Lead.
As Community Lead, I oversee community experience, cohort delivery, and event operations, working closely with Paz, the co-founder, and a team of four to scale engagement while maintaining a strong sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day community operations and member experience across programs
Co-run flagship cohort programs alongside co-founder Paz
Design and execute online and in-person events strategy
Support partnerships, speakers, and community collaborations
Facilitate sessions, support members, and strengthen retention and engagement

Impact & Outcomes (2025)

Delivered 2 cohort programs with 110+ members per cohort
Supported delivery of 145 community events
Helped generate 10,000+ RSVPs with 4,000 attendees across events
Supported management of 102 guest speakers, including founders and industry leaders
Supported partnership programs with 37 companies contributing to programming and community growth

How I Work

I approach community building as both an operational system and a human experience.
On one side, I focus on structure, clarity, and consistency in how programs and events are delivered. On the other, I prioritise belonging, trust, and connection so members feel genuinely supported, not just “managed.”
I care deeply about:
Creating spaces where people feel safe to show up fully
Turning ideas into tangible community experiences
Building systems that scale without losing depth
Supporting collaboration between members, partners, and facilitators

What This Role Represents

This role represents a shift from participating in communities to actively designing and leading them. It combines my interest in human connection, facilitation, and systems thinking with my desire to create spaces where people feel supported, seen, and engaged over time 🧡
