A lifestyle management app for Patients to track their actions, medications, supplements, and custom parameters to manage their conditions as well as connect with people of similar issues.

To create an app that would prove as a useful tool for patients to improve their lifestyle. Most patients weren’t willing to spend time to input detailed information though it was required to improve their lifestyle.

Though Patients were unwilling to dedicate time to input data, it was highly important to track their lifestyle for the Providers (healthcare specialists) to see what’s working for them (Patients).

We had to resort to Patients to understand their needs and problems. Extensive user interviews were conducted with Patients and two main issues were identified: 1. Patients found the task of filling in forms a daunting task, more so when it’s to be done periodically. 2. Patients found themselves alone and diffident when their conditions worsened and thus failed to follow the plan that their healthcare providers suggested.

Designed a conversational app that interacted with Patients and only required that they tap appropriate answers.

Introduced a community option to connect Patients of similar conditions, who were grouped by their healthcare providers.

Patients also were given an option to discover groups and join them, to encourage each other and manage or improve their medical condition(s) / lifestyle.

Initial test patients found conversational flow helpful and the data received was improved by 43% during the test phase.

The patients who tested the prototype also showed interest in using the app post-release as they felt the reports generated consumable and helpful during their visits with their healthcare providers.
