Meet Poppimals, a playful toy universe designed to spark curiosity and imagination!
We were given the opportunity to build a brand identity for the colourful & expansive world of Poppimals.
Our challenge was to create a brand that
has personality,
is colourful,
and is fun!
This had to reflect from the logo to the products, packaging, and future possible touchpoints (all kinds of merch).
We came up with a design system that was flexible;
the logo mark and its variation had to work in multiple colours, while still retaining the friendly and cute aesthetic of Poppimals toys.
It had to be cute and friendly, just like the toys themselves.
We wanted that to translate into the various logo forms...
it was all in the eyes!
One of our main challenges was to be consistent and cohesive across the range of products Poppimals and Pop Chains had to offer.
So,
We created design systems of iconography for every animal, for usage across brand collateral.
Chunky, playful and fun typography,
that keeps things safe and legible while also adding that extra bounce.
This is how it turned out!
Abstract shapes and motifs were created by our team of illustrators in addition to the illustration of the animals themselves to add a pinch of extra character.
And this is some merch!
The packaging had to be cost-efficient and minimal, considering Poppimals has a vast range of toys and environments.
