La Condesa brings the soul of Mexican food to the heart of Bangalore, India. We built a brand identity that captures “El Soul de Mexico”, The Soul of Mexico.
La Condesa brings the soul of Mexican food to the heart of Bangalore, India.
Our job at MELD was to build a brand identity and visual systems that capture the vibrance of Mexican food and culture.
To put it holistically, we had to capture El Soul de Mexico, The Soul of Mexico.
Representing the Visual Identity of La Condesa
At the heart of La Condesa’s identity is a logo inspired by iconic imagery from the celebrated movie ‘Coco,’ interwoven with symbols that capture the soul of Mexico.
Colour Palette of La Condesa
One of our major inspirations was finding a vibrant colour palette that reflected Mexican culture and food. We wanted the consumer to be able to taste the food before they even ordered anything to the table!
BOLD.
That was the ideology behind La Condesa’s. Bold in flavour and attitude, and that translated into our visual choices, both digitally and in packaging.
Everything packed heaps of flavour and spice.
La Condesa's Type!
La Condesa’s typography showcases the Rokkitt family, its handcrafted feel and versatile weights mirroring the handcrafted quality and diversity of the cuisine.
Initially, La Condesa opened as a cloud kitchen, which meant no walk-ins.
This meant we had to have a strong digital presence and memorable packaging.
Our logo was perfect for solving this problem.
Easily recognisable, and could be placed on any container, even as a sticker.
This made packaging cost-effective and striking.
The consistent illustrative pattern brings the packaging alive to match the same intensity as Mexican cuisine.
To create and buzz, our digital campaigns had to embody the spirit of El Soul De Mexico.
Connecting a Bangalore audience with Mexican heritage La Condesa became more than a meal.
It’s an invitation to experience the heart of Mexico.
We finally opened doors, each classic dish:
Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Nachos, Bowls—is lovingly spotlighted.
Slogans like ‘el soul de Mexico’ and playful graphics reinforce La Condesa’s promise:
Genuine Mexican cuisine brought to life with soul, quality, and festive warmth.
The consistent illustrative pattern brings the packaging alive to match the same intensity as the flavour from the menu. Together, they give La Condesa a consistent identity and colour.
