The Progentec team approached us back in 2019 to design a new medical app for their team in order to have their medical staff be able to communicate with users of their patient app.

This specific app is for people who struggle with Lupus, the users are able to track symptoms, flares, communicate with a medical professional via chat or video calls. They are also able to keep up with different quizzes and tracking data that is kept in the app and is integrated with a Withings smart watch.

Patients living with Lupus often face ongoing challenges in managing their symptoms, tracking flare-ups, and maintaining consistent communication with healthcare providers. Progentec recognized a gap in existing digital health tools—particularly the lack of an integrated, user-friendly platform that could support symptom tracking, wearable device integration, and direct communication with medical professionals. Their medical team needed a companion app that would allow clinicians to effectively engage with patients through secure messaging and video calls, while also enabling users to monitor their condition and access guided health content. Without a cohesive system, both patients and providers struggled to maintain continuity of care, personalized support, and timely interventions.

Admins or Trainers can set up Practis Sets, which contain Scenarios & Challenges these are predefined scripts that help employees train on pertinent company content delivery methods and ways of handling problems in accordance with a pre-defined script.

Providing an in app communication system for users to interact with a medical professional is something that the Progentec Team was adamant about using in the app as it would provide the most conclusive insight into patient problems.

Connecting patients too providers simply through a digital mobile application and creating a two way platform for communication, scheduling and tracking of patients progress.

Part of our job was to create an engaging and delightful experience for patients to complete surveys in order for the medical studies to gather data properly.

It has been a year in the making due to Progentec putting the initial launch on pause from June 2019-May 2020, but we were able work with the development team at Progentec and handoff our designs for the finished product.

This was a fun project and one that stretched us and allowed us to think outside the box and really implement a design we were proud of and a user experience that has been tested with users.
