A centralized KYC validation and management system that allows users to save their credentials, documents, and identity information in a safe space for easy retrieval, management, and re-use across several platforms, with the use of an eight-digit number called ZINID.
The main goal of the project was to design an Admin Dashboard to manage Users and Vendors.
The Problem
Users' Problem:
Many apps require users to complete KYC processes, involving submitting valid ID cards, live photos, and real-time checks. This repetitive process, common in fintech apps, can be tiresome and discouraging, leading to potential loss of interest or temptation to use false identities. Misplacing IDs adds further inconvenience and delays to signing up for new platforms.
Vendors' Problem:
In today's tech-focused world, cybercrime and identity theft have become major concerns, especially in the Fintech sector. Fraudsters' ability to remain anonymous or use stolen identities has led to significant financial losses for many companies. As a result, Know Your Customer (KYC) validation is now crucial for onboarding processes. However, ensuring the accuracy of KYC validation while managing the high costs of manual verification poses challenges for companies, making it harder to prevent fraudulent activities effectively.
Solution Scope
This system will serve as a user ID storage hub and a trusted and secured KYC validation and fraud monitoring system for vendors. The admin accesses the dashboard to manage and disable users and vendors, manage other admins, process vendor and user deletion, and configure vendor subscriptions.
A/B Testing:
For a Better user experience and with the already existing market survey of users always glued to their phones, a Responsive mobile design was provided as well.

Conclusion & Take Away
Initially, this project seemed demanding, although comprehensive documentation and a clear PRD made my contribution a pleasure. Collaborating with the project manager, project lead, and developers encouraged an ongoing conversation, enabling instant feedback about necessary additions and deletions. This experience was enlightening, given that I became more aware of design choices, always ensuring their implication would not compromise user security.
