Designing a Crypto exchange platform

Designing a crypto website that focuses on saving and earning in USDT (Tether, a stablecoin) while also providing cryptocurrency exchange services requires careful consideration of user experience, security, and functionality.

The existing cryptocurrency market facilitates exchanges and swaps of cryptocurrencies without emphasizing market downturns.

Our decentralized platform enables users to save, earn interest, and exchange cryptocurrencies seamlessly.

In addition to addressing customers' challenges in saving and earning in crypto, the website also highlighted issues related to visual hierarchy, the inefficient use of illustrations, and some basic design fundamentals that were flawed. These factors can lead to longer loading times and potentially impact user retention negatively.

As a User, I want to be able to buy and Sell crypto at a good and not an Exorbitant Rate.

2. As a User, I want to see Real-time rate and Market Data which helps me make the decision of when to sell and Buy.

After extensive research into user needs, we decided to refresh the website's direction to create an intuitive platform for cryptocurrency exchange. Simultaneously, the development of a mobile application is underway to complement the website's functionality.

The website consists of different sections displaying market prices for various cryptocurrencies that were designed with minimal visibility. Additionally, the advantages of saving and utilizing the platform were adequately highlighted. The section outlining the step-by-step process of utilizing the platform lacked clarity. Furthermore, there was a missed opportunity to include a clear call-to-action (CTA) for newsletter subscriptions.

Some other commissioned screens were the Career page to access job opportunities and also the Blog page to share knowledge about crypto and Web 3 to users who are new to the world of blockchain and crypto technology and also the career Pages.

For a Better user experience and with the already existing market survey of users always glued to their phones, a Responsive mobile design was provided as well.

Collaborating closely with the team on the project rewarding experience for me. The focus was on creating intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences that prioritize the clarity, functionality, and security of the users of the platform. This iterative approach allows for continuous improvement and optimization of the platform, leading to higher user satisfaction and retention rates.
