2022 - The leading e-commerce company for water pumps in Northern Europe is lacking traction in Southern Europe, especially Italy. They adopt the same platform design in every country of the group. But the digital habits are quite different across countries...

2023 - I research the market, the buyer personas, the queries and the search volumes, I dive into country-specific design trends and I interview clients personally. After 1 month of research I find out that the company is not tuned into the real needs of the Italian audience, and for this reason, cannot attract Italian clients.

Thanks to keyword and UX research, I find out that the Italian audience is less familiar with the product range offered by the company. Also, they're not familiar with the technical jargon or the Northern-European structure of the whole e-commerce platform.

Hence, with a minor technical and design effort, I succeed to create the infrastructure and the experience in line with users' preferences.

MY WORK 1. Auditing: assessing the e-shops' original conditions, researching competitors, and understanding market trends. 

2. Strategy: definition of goals and KPIs, operations, timeline, action plan, tasks across multi-functional team, supervision model. 

3. Implementation: creation of shared guidelines for coworkers, execution of high-profile tasks, progress monitoring, weekly data analysis, and reporting.
