New modern website for dental office

I have built and launched this project together with my friend Ondra. I prepared the design documentation while he did the technical part (programming and launch to production).

Although this website is custom-made, it comes with a content management system.

The challenge

Although the client already had a website, there were two major shortcomings.

The first was the lack of a content management system that would allow any changes to it. As a result, it was not possible to inform patients about changes in office hours or contacts.

The second shortcoming was the fact that most of the text was part of images. In such cases, search engines have trouble displaying the website in search results.

The goal

In this case, it made sense to start from scratch and create completely new web pages. The layout of the original website was built as one page. Based on our initial meeting and questionnaire, we agreed with the owner to expand the structure with new subpages and sections.

The visual identity

Regarding the visual aspect, the owner wanted to address the topic of modern technologies, as he uses elements of digital stomatology in practice.

I only received an older version of the logo, so the owner agreed on some minor adjustments and the addition of more variants. The colour palette is based on shades of blue and gray, which resonate with the practice's values.

The simple sans-serif font harmonizes beautifully with the colours.

The graphics that I created also include a unique set of custom icons representing dental care.

I prepared all the copywriting together with the owner. To achieve an even better impression, we asked a professional photographer to take pictures of the office and the team members.

The solution

Promises are meant to be kept, so the new website comes with a simple content management system.

Besides that, seven new subpages have been added. This gives the owner space to publish all important information and present the dental practice and team.

Since this project is completely custom-made, the hosting is managed and secured by Ondra on his own solution.
