Recognizing the need to amplify its social media presence amidst fierce competition, the company embarked on a strategic initiative to improve engagement, reach new and existing customers, and position itself as the go-to platform within the industry.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Social Media Specialist at Practice Better, my primary responsibility was to overcome the challenge of enhancing the brand's social media visibility while providing valuable educational content to our audience. This role demanded a creative overhaul of our social media strategies to ensure consistency in posting frequency and diversity in content types, particularly in a period leading up to a major event for the company.

Conceptualizations

The strategy was conceptualized around the core idea of leveraging short-form video content and influencer partnerships to drive engagement and awareness. Acknowledging the gaps in our current social media practices—such as inconsistent posting schedules and a lack of content variety—the plan was to introduce dynamic and engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

Implementation

The implementation phase involved a rigorous process of content creation, focusing on short-form videos by collaborating with guest speakers and influencers. This approach not only provided our audience with valuable insights but also significantly amplified our event's promotion. Additionally, we integrated paid social initiatives, including user-generated content (UGC), contesting, and remarketing campaigns, to enhance our reach and engagement levels further.








Contest Initiatives

In a strategic move to boost engagement and drive traffic to our social media platforms, we introduced contesting as a method to excite and reward our customers. Offering a coveted prize—a free 6-month Plus Plan subscription—this tactic was designed to stimulate user activity and participation. The contest not only served to highlight the benefits of our premium service but also to enhance our social media interaction, build community, and show appreciation for our user base's loyalty and support.





Influencer Partnerships

A pivotal component of our strategy was forming partnerships with influencers and health professionals who could authentically promote our platform and event. These collaborations were instrumental in introducing Practice Better to new audiences and reinforcing our value proposition to existing customers.

The concerted efforts in revamping our social media strategy yielded remarkable results:

  • Optimized Creative Initiatives: Led the charge in optimizing creative efforts, utilizing animations, video production, GIFs, and various other assets to elevate our marketing strategies.
