Ricky Ticky Tacos is a vibrant online-only Mexican restaurant catering to a wide audience through delivery apps like Uber Eats and DoorDash. The brand is built around a luchador named Ricky, who was once a wrestler in Mexico but moved to Canada to start a family and follow his passion for food. As a social media strategist for this brand, my responsibilities included revamping their social media strategy, producing product shots with a photographer, and creating an AR filter available on Snapchat to increase brand awareness and user-generated content.

My primary goal was to develop a fun and youthful brand image while promoting the unique cultural aspects of Mexican cuisine. With the help of the photographer, we produced visually stunning product shots that showcased the brand's mouth-watering food items. The use of the luchador mask in one of the photos added an element of fun and excitement to the brand's image, making it more appealing to younger audiences.

The AR filter we created for Snapchat was a huge success, with customers using it to create their own content and share it with their friends. This resulted in an increase in social media engagement and brand awareness, ultimately driving more orders through the delivery apps.

Overall, the revamped social media strategy, product shots, and AR filter helped to position Ricky Ticky Tacos as a dynamic and fun brand that offers authentic Mexican cuisine. The success of these initiatives is reflected in the increased engagement on the brand's social media platforms and the surge in sales through the delivery apps.
