Glowy is a fully automated online scheduling plugin designed for e-commerce in the beauty and services industry. As Co-Founder and Lead Product Designer, I brought my experience from Beauty Date to create Brazil’s first embedded native scheduling solution — merging seamless UX, smart architecture, and a scalable white-label structure.
Built for flexibility, Glowy allows customers to book services directly through partner e-commerce sites, like Boticário, while supporting the operational needs of both franchises and individual salons.
The Opportunity
After the success of Beauty Date, we recognized a growing demand from partners for a streamlined, embeddable scheduling experience that could live inside online stores.
The challenge wasn’t just building another app — it was:
Adapting scheduling behavior to the logic of e-commerce
Handling complex multi-location and multi-permission scenarios
Creating a flexible, brand-safe plugin that could be used across multiple franchises
Enabling real-time booking in a way that felt native to each store
Product Strategy
We developed Glowy as a white-label native platform with:
Shop & Service Management – for chains, franchises, or single-location businesses
Flexible User Roles – with customized access and permissions
Plug & Play Integration – embeddable in any partner e-commerce flow
AI-Driven Logic – for optimal slot availability and smooth user experience
White-Label Experience – visual identity adapted to each brand’s guidelines
Our goal was to deliver value fast — while maintaining high design standards and long-term product stability.
UX & Design Approach
As the lead on product and design, I focused on:
Building a clean, intuitive user journey for booking services
Ensuring high performance across devices
Designing for repetitive use and minimal friction
Creating modular components and flexible flows that adapt to different brand and store types
The first version was successfully embedded in Grupo Boticário’s ecommerce, allowing users to schedule makeovers in enabled units directly through the site.
Outcome
Glowy validated a new category of service: scheduling as a seamless ecommerce extension. It empowered beauty retailers to offer richer, service-based experiences — without needing external platforms or workarounds.
We delivered a product that was:

Final Thoughts
Glowy is a natural evolution of Beauty Date — smarter, faster, more flexible. It combines the polish of a product designed for real people with the backend logic needed by major retail networks. Most importantly, it brings the concept of “book now” into the flow of “buy now.”
