Festify Access is a mobile application designed to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, mainly reduced mobility and, optionally, visual impairment, at music festivals. The app lets users locate, navigate to and get up-to-date information on accessible points within the venue, such as toilets, bars, raised platforms, ramps and assistance points, replacing the reliance on static maps and insufficient physical signage.

Designed in Figma, the platform combines a cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android with a web administration portal. Users select their festival, set their accessibility profile through an accessible onboarding, and use an accessible map of the venue with point-to-point navigation that prioritises routes viable for reduced mobility, along with terrain and surface information. The app is designed to work with VoiceOver and TalkBack, and festivals can send notifications, including emergency alerts that point to the nearest accessible exit.

On the festival side, each organiser uploads and georeferences its venue plan, manages accessible points, draws its network of accessible routes and configures optional modules without technical intervention, all on a multi-festival platform that keeps each festival’s data and users isolated. The project was carried out in collaboration with Ebalutions S.L., who led the definition and validation of the accessibility criteria.
