Contra Writing Ambassador

Background

I was selected as one of 8 people to join Contra’s April Ambassador program as a Writing Ambassador.

🚀 Contra is disrupting the future of work by supercharging and empowering independent workers through its new professional network.

✨ As a Writing Ambassador, I was tasked with beta testing product features, reviewing the user experience and user interface, sharing my experience with my network, and creating written content related to the independent work journey and the value that Contra provides.



Results

Worked in collaboration with the Contra team and the 7 other ambassadors (designers, engineers, and a social media specialist) to pursue the common goal of helping Contra become THE platform of choice for independent work journeys.

✔ articles written about the journey of becoming an independent worker and the immense benefits of becoming an Ambassador and joining the Contra Community.

✔ 4 projects created to showcase my prior work and test Contra’s portfolio functionality and features

✔ 5 services created to showcase my offerings and test Contra’s services functionality



💻 Beta Testing

✔ Complete review of Contra landing pages

✔ User experience review and feedback provided via Loom and in writing of onboarding, project portfolios and services creation process, and general Contra profile feedback

✔ Testing of My Community and Linking External features via Figma including written and verbal feedback



✨ Contra Advocate

✔ Shared the value of Contra with my network via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The social posts had over 1,500 impressions and 45 engagements.

✔ Shared Contra with several Slack communities with a total of ~6,500 members.
