Zalando and ADAN Impact partnered to run an accelerator program for Black-owned fashion brands, and the program already had a website with a brand direction and a creative language established by the team. Six brands had been selected and each one needed its own space on the site, which meant doing justice to six very different brands, each with its own founder story, without breaking a visual system that had already been carefully built.
What I did
At Yumeda Studio I extended the existing site in about a month, focusing on visual design, UI and interaction design, with a showcase section on the homepage and a page for each of the six brands, where the founder's story, the brand identity and editorial photography come together following the creative direction the site already had.
Key decisions
The main decision was a common template for all six brand pages, where the founder's story, the brand identity and the editorial photography change from one brand to the next while the structure stays the same, so the six read as one program and each one still stands out. The template put the weight on interactivity and movement, because the site had to live up to Zalando and feel as dynamic as the brands it was presenting.

Outcome
The homepage showcase and the six brand pages went live on the accelerator's site within about a month, fitting into the existing system so the program could present each brand as distinct while the experience stayed consistent.
