Context

PartSpace is a German B2B startup whose procurement software connects 2D and 3D engineering data with purchasing and supplier data, and despite a strong product it lacked a digital presence to match, with almost just a logo as its only brand asset. The new corporate website had to explain that product to procurement professionals, engineers and executives, who arrive with different questions and a different tolerance for technical detail, while also handling lead generation, investor visibility and hiring, and it had to be designed and built in four months without access to end users.

What I did

As the UX/UI designer, I ran a discovery with stakeholders and a competitive analysis, and turned the customer journey into a six-stage conversion funnel, with pages by role and by industry so each visitor could find their own use case and an ROI calculator to assess the value before talking to sales. Starting from the logo, I extended its colours into a full UI palette, designed Rive animations of the product for two hero sections, briefed the graphic designer on the isometric illustrations and built the design system from scratch to be built as editable Storyblok blocks.

Key decisions

The central problem was communicating a technically sophisticated product without losing the visitors who are not engineers, so the content hierarchy put clear messaging first and let managers and engineers go deeper into the technical detail when they needed it, while the visual direction aimed to make a young company look like an established enterprise solution. The components were designed so the client could edit content and build new sections from existing blocks, with what is editable and what stays fixed defined in advance so the design and its accessibility would hold up after their changes.

Outcome

The site launched after four months of design and development and is still live with the original design, with small additions made later by the client, who approved the design with minimal rounds of feedback and later reported better-quality leads.
