About the project
I owned the end-to-end re-design of the reporting feature as the sole designer in the team. Sparrow was mainly focused on marketing analytics before that and the team decided to expand the focus on other side features like reporting.
Problem
The problem was that the reports were limited to only one format and not customizable after generation. Also, the templates have to be created only by our team and developed by code into the app, which makes the process very less efficient and costly.

Digital marketers including freelancers

Solution
We came up with the conclusion that we could develop a custom Google Addon for Sparrowcharts to solve this problem.
Benefits:
Users can create their own custom templates
Users can customize their reports
They're using a design-friendly app to create their templates -> Google Slides (no need to educate them about any new template creator)
The cost of template creation comes down to 0$ for users
The team saved time not creating any other coded templates
