Revolutionizing Business Processes with Low-Code Automation

The Zoom Sessions Generator simplified the laborious process of creating thousands of Zoom sessions per year by coupling together a number of services, leveraging the Zoom API, and creating a custom built Slack bot.

The biggest challenge on this project was creating a process that automated as much as possible with the existing tech stack, ensuring no new costly licenses would be required for the Research Operations team members, and learning the Zoom API to best incorporate it into the solution.

I started the project by researching the Zoom API and creating a sandbox to help me understand what was going to be possible given the existing tech stack at our disposal.

After successfully building a working prototype, I then drafted a proposed timeline by which we'd launch the new process. Working closely with the Research Operations department who was responsible for creating the thousands of Zoom sessions, I was able to identify the key stakeholders and testers and get to work.

Working closely with the team and regularly checking in as progress evolved, we were able to quickly arrive at a solution that saved both time and money. In droves.

In less than 1 week, I turned the prototype I had created into a functioning workflow that was immediately embraced and used constantly from that day onwards. Once the team started using the solution, they saved many hours per week across the entire team and the solution became a staple at the company.
