Project Overview
Strategic Test Prep approached me with the challenge of rebranding their business to create a visual identity and website that would not only engage students but also build trust with their parents. The goal was to strike a balance between youthful energy and professionalism, ensuring the brand would be relatable to students while reassuring parents of its credibility and effectiveness.
Challenge
The key challenge was to develop a brand that spoke to two distinct audiences:
Students: Needed a brand that felt fresh, relatable, and fun—something that would motivate them to engage with test prep materials.
Parents: Required a more professional and trustworthy look that assured them of the quality and reliability of the services.
Process
Research & Strategy: Conducted research to understand both students’ and parents’ needs, shaping the brand’s direction to appeal to both audiences.
Brand Identity Development: Retained the existing logo and incorporated illustrations from the OpenDoodles library to fit the budget while still giving the brand a playful and approachable feel.
Designed a color palette and typography that balanced youthful energy for students with professionalism to build trust with parents.
Website Redesign:Created a user-friendly website with intuitive navigation, interactive elements, and student-friendly features. Development in Wix Studio
Added parent-focused sections to highlight testimonials, course information, and calls to action, ensuring they could easily find key information.
Impact
Increased engagement by 30%, with students spending more time exploring the website’s resources and materials.
Parents reported higher levels of trust in the company, evidenced by an increase in inquiries and bookings.
The playful, modern design helped Strategic Test Prep stand out from competitors, creating a unique identity in the crowded test prep market.
