Higher Education

Introduction

Higher education has a bad reputation in the hustle culture. I was lucky enough to have been born in a country where Universities are free, and that is how I managed to not fall into debt while studying. How can my education help any potential clients?

My role in this project

By dedicating 5 years of my life to the University of Gdańsk and its English Faculty, I have been able to develop a deeper understanding of literature and storytelling. By dwelling deep into grammatical structures, and analysis of sentence syntax, I am a well-rounded English speaker.

Even though my master thesis was rooted in literary analysis, my education has enabled me to call myself a teacher. Alongside long lectures about Shakespeare, there has also been room for pedagogical development, and teaching practice in both primary and high school.

Conclusion

By knowing the language, diving deep into the narratological functions of text, and having a keen understanding of what it means to be a teacher, I am able to provide my clients with writing that is understandable, narrative, and educational. This is the impact higher education had on me.
