Introduction
Web designers and copywriters are destined to cross paths at some point in their careers. One takes care of the visual and functional aspects of the site, while the other encourages the visitor to keep on clicking and reading what the website has to offer. I was the latter.
This is what a programmer might see.
My role in the project
This was one of my first partnerships on Upwork. By engaging with the technicalities of web design, the world of UX and UI design, and what it means to work in an AGILE environment, I was able to write articles that were informative and invited the reader into the world of web design.
The research and preparation period for some of the articles took a while, but these actions resulted in my better understanding of the space, and clearer and more profound texts. I had to learn a lot about the space, but I had a lot of fun in that process.
Conclusion
As web designers sometimes lack the tools to convey the meaning of their work, copywriters are able to do that. Through that cooperation, I have learned a lot about what it takes to be a web developer, and I developed an appreciation for that career.
