Contra Design Ambassador 👩🏻‍💻💥| Article

For two weeks, I had the opportunity to be part of the Contra team as part of the ambassadors program for the month of April 🗓(and after this experience I have confirmed that it is the best and most fun team🤩). My role as an ambassador consisted of helping the team to test the Contra platform by giving feedback on the experience that I was perceiving as a user designer at all times 👩🏻‍💻.

The experience and feedback was communicated through Looms, which are videos that allow you to record your screen and your reactions, in this case the journey through the experiences necessary to complete your profile and project creation, always giving feedback and being super descriptive of the feelings that the experience gives us 😌.

One of my favorite parts was definitely meeting and interacting with the team, both ambassadors and Contra's full-time team 💥. We had group calls to talk and get to know each other 🗣, one-on-one feedback between ambassadors and finally a call in which we played and got to know each other better 🤗.

A new family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧🥰, with whom from before I already felt identified by the Slack community, and now more !! A family full of pure talented people, wanting to help and create incredible things.

New skills that I hadn’t had the opportunity to develop in this way 🚀, such as in-depth product analysis 🔎, user perspective and the ability to give feedback.

The opportunity to improve and put communication into practice 🗣: both in English (a different language than the one I speak) as well as communication regarding the feelings that an interface can provoke in me.

The experience of being a witness that feedback matters ❣, and it matters a lot !! And that it is the key aspect to create meaningfull things.

A heart full of pure good vibes ⚡️💥, since as they say: surround yourself with people who inspire you because we are the result of the people around us. So in these two weeks I had the opportunity to recharge and fill my energy 🔋, to now go, give and share all this incredible experience that I had the fortune to live.
