Paws & Homes Pet Adoption – Social Media Management Case Study
Project Overview
Client: Paws & Homes Pet Adoption
Industry: Animal Welfare & Pet Adoption
Project Duration: 4 Months
Role: Social Media Manager
The Challenge
Paws & Homes struggled to maintain a consistent social media presence and had difficulty reaching potential adopters. Despite having many pets available for adoption, engagement levels were low, follower growth had stagnated, and adoption awareness campaigns were not generating enough visibility.
Goals
Increase social media engagement
Grow the organization's online community
Improve awareness of adoptable pets
Drive more inquiries and adoption applications
Build a stronger emotional connection with animal lovers
Strategy
To achieve these goals, I developed a content strategy centered around four key content pillars:
Pet Spotlights & Adoption Stories
Educational Pet Care Content
Behind-the-Scenes Shelter Activities
Community Engagement & User-Generated Content
I focused primarily on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, implementing a consistent posting schedule of 5–6 posts weekly. Community management was prioritized through timely responses to comments, messages, and adoption inquiries.
Execution
I created a monthly content calendar featuring a mix of videos, carousel posts, success stories, and educational content. Each adoptable pet received dedicated content designed to highlight their personality and increase emotional connection with potential adopters.
