Project Overview & The Challenge

The client (a boutique travel agency / vacation booking platform / hospitality brand) was struggling to convert passive social media scrollers into active customers. Their existing social media presence was generic, lacking visual identity, and their booking user journey was fragmented.
The goal was to create an immersive, high-converting social media campaign centered around "The Ultimate Vacation Experience," bridging the gap between engaging social content and a seamless digital product experience.

My Dual Role & Responsibilities

As a Product Designer:

User Research & Mapping: Conducted user research to identify target audience travel triggers, anxieties, and aesthetic preferences.
Visual Identity & Systems: Designed a cohesive, premium design system (typography, color palettes, and grid layouts) optimized specifically for mobile viewing.
Interactive Asset Design: Designed interactive story templates, carousel layouts, and high-fidelity mockups for digital lead magnets (e.g., custom vacation itineraries).
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Redesigned the link-in-bio landing page landing flow to reduce friction from the social click to the final booking inquiry form.

As a Social Media Manager:

Content Strategy & Ideation: Developed a 3-phase campaign content pillars: Inspiration (Aspirational reels/graphics), Education (Itinerary guides/travel hacks), and Action (User reviews/limited offers).
Campaign Execution: Scheduled and managed the multi-platform rollout across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
Community Management & Copywriting: Wrote high-converting, emotionally resonant captions and actively engaged with comments and direct messages to push prospects down the funnel.
