Project Overview

The client, an emerging eco-conscious yoga wear brand, was struggling with low online engagement, high cart abandonment, and a digital presence that didn't reflect the premium, seamless quality of their apparel.
As the Product Designer and Social Media Manager, I took a holistic approach to bridge the gap between the user’s shopping experience and the brand's community narrative. By unifying the product’s digital touchpoints with an intentional social strategy, we transformed the brand from a quiet online store into a thriving lifestyle community.

My Role & Responsibilities

I wore two distinct hats on this project, ensuring that the brand promise on social media perfectly matched the actual user experience on the web app.

1. Product Designer (UX/UI)

User Research & Journey Mapping: Conducted interviews with yoga practitioners to understand their online shopping pain points, discovering that sizing uncertainty and clunky checkout flows were major drop-off points.
Streamlined Checkout Flow: Redesigned the cart and checkout interface to minimize friction, introducing a 3-step checkout and a transparent shipping calculator.
Interactive Size Guide: Designed a dynamic, intuitive "Find Your Fit" quiz that reduced customer anxiety around sizing.
Visual Design System: Refreshed the e-commerce UI with calming, earthy tones, minimalist typography, and high-quality micro-interactions that mirror the mindfulness of yoga.

2. Social Media Manager & Strategist

Content Strategy & Curation: Devised a 360-degree content pillar system focusing on movement tutorials, sustainable fabric education, and community spotlights.
Visual Direction: Produced and art-directed high-aesthetic Reels, TikToks, and carousel posts emphasizing the fabric’s stretch, comfort, and real-life movement.
Community Management: Implemented an active engagement strategy, turning comments and DMs into a customer feedback loop that directly informed product iterations.
Influencer Partnerships: Sourced and managed collaborations with micro-yoga influencers to build social proof and authentic brand affinity.
